Remakers’ Learning Lab
The world of upcycling is an exciting and ever-evolving artform. With guided support, you will use our state-of-the-art plastic recycling facility and injection machine to transform the everyday discarded plastics we’ve collected from our community into bold, eco-conscious art. No experience required. Students will learn safe melting, molding, and power tool skill and techniques that can be applied to future projects independently while making unique projects to take home. Projects vary by class, so you can join more than once and make something new each time.
What to Know Before Registering
Safety is the highest priority in this class. Please wear long pants, closed toe shoes and secure long hair. During this class participants will be required to wear an organic vapor half face respirator mask with activated carbon filters to protect from harmful fumes. Mask usage is not optional and participants who will not wear their mask will be asked to leave without a refund.
Pricing
Breck Create Members: $26.25, no fees
Non-Members: $35 +$4 service fee
The cost the class includes materials and tools.
Age Requirement
Participants must be 17 or older to participate.
