Open studios are an opportunity to explore an artistic medium independently. Instructors are not present during open studios. Instead, studio technicians are available to orient participants. Ceramics Open Studios

The Ceramics Studio is open several days during the week allowing participants to work on personal projects. The studio contains throwing wheels, hand-building tables, a slab roller, an extruder and community tools. Clay is available for sale and purchase includes bisque firing, use of glazes and glaze firings. Breck Create hosts several alternative firings throughout the year, including Raku, wood and pit firings at an on-site kiln yard. Ceramics Open Studio participants must have taken at least one intermediate/advanced ceramics class with Breck Create.
