PURPLE MOUNTAIN MAJESTY
In recognition of our 250/150 celebrations, Breck Create’s 2026 July 4th theme, Purple Mountain Majesty, is inspired by the song “America the Beautiful” by Katharine Lee Bates.
Bates wrote the song during a trip to Colorado in 1893, with the phrase “purple mountain majesty” capturing the beauty of the region’s iconic landscape.
By celebrating our local surroundings, we create shared experiences of connection, belonging, and a strong sense of community
