While in Residence
Banowetz will work with Summit County teachers to enrich arts education at local schools. In her own practice, Banowetz plans to explore the environmental stories surrounding Breckenridge. She will address conservation issues and the human impact on nature. She will create a new body of work which she will photograph out in the landscape.
Want to Help Nicole Create Her Next Installation?
Nicole Banowetz, our newest artist-in-residence, is inviting the community to be part of her creative process! She’s currently collecting tent donations to repurpose for her next inflatable sculpture installation. By donating your old or unused tents, you can help Nicole transform these materials into stunning, large-scale art pieces that reflect her passion for the natural world. Your contribution will play a role in bringing her next vision to life at Breck Create.
Donation Drop-Off: Bring your donations to Nicole’s Studio Hours at the Robert Whyte House (Fridays and Saturdays, 2-5pm) or to Old Masonic Hall during business hours. Got questions? Email Nicole at n.a.banowetz@gmail.com or tag/DM her on social @nicolebanowetz
