Arts District
Old Masonic Hall
Built in 1892 and thoughtfully restored in 2015, Old Masonic Hall is where Breck Create’s contemporary visual arts program comes to life. Rotating and immersive exhibitions fill both the upstairs and downstairs galleries, while all-ages experiences invite visitors to explore art in new ways throughout the year.
The building also serves as the welcoming front door to Breckenridge Arts + Culture. The lobby houses the community ticket office and information center for the district’s arts organizations, and the flexible upstairs gallery transforms into a gathering place for artist talks, performances, workshops, receptions, and other intimate community events.
Originally home to a grocery store, the medical offices of Dr. B.A. Arbogast, and later the town’s Masonic Lodge, the building blends Breckenridge’s rich history with its vibrant creative future. During its restoration, original architectural elements were preserved where possible, while historically inspired details—including the storefront and tin ceiling—were carefully recreated from archival photographs.
