Artists-in-residence Justin Tyler Tate and Aimee Kuiper will work with community members throughout the summer on installations for BIFA. Tate, a Canadian-born artist with a globally recognized practice, works across sculpture, curation, and publication to explore the expanded field of contemporary art. Kuiper, an illustrator and author from Minnesota, brings third culture stories to life through vibrant character art, with a passion for accessibility and community engagement.
