Breck Create Instructor + Summit Schools Exhibition:
Exhibition Reception
Join us for the opening reception of the Breck Create Instructor & Staff Exhibition: What Do You Want to Protect? and the Summit Schools Student Exhibition.
Celebrate the creative talent of our community at the opening reception for two powerful exhibitions, both exploring the theme What Do You Want to Protect?
The Breck Create Instructor & Staff Exhibition: What Do You Want to Protect? showcases thought-provoking artworks by Breck Create instructors, artists-in-residence, and staff. Their works reflect on environmental conservation, cultural heritage, relationships, and personal values, offering diverse perspectives on safeguarding what matters most.
The Summit Schools Student Exhibition: Students of Summit-Save our Summers is both a call to action and a celebration of nature, summertime, and connection. Students from Upper Blue Elementary, Snowy Peaks, and Summit High School created collaborative works in mixed-media that express what they cherish and hope to protect for future generations.
Special thanks to the artists and educators who guided these projects:
Upper Blue Elementary – Emily Jones, Breck Create Instructor
Snowy Peaks – Nicole Banowetz, Breck Create Fall Artist-in-Residence
Summit High School – Jenna Annunziato, Breck Create Winter Artist-in-Residence, and Paige Scheuermann, Summit High School Visual Art Teacher & Breck Create Instructor
