Join us for an uplifting community dance experience led by the team behind Celebrate the Beat, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing transformative arts education to schools and communities.

This high-energy, all-ages session blends dance, movement, music, creativity and joy into a feel-good experience designed to get bodies moving and spirits lifted. Inspired by the philosophy that every movement can plant a seed of creativity, connection and confidence, participants are invited to come as they are and join in the fun—no dance experience required.

Founded by Tracy Straus, the Bija Beat movement is rooted in the Sanskrit word bija, meaning “seed,” and celebrates the power of movement to inspire positive change. Through every rhythm, every smile and every shared moment, this event supports Celebrate the Beat’s mission of making arts education accessible to young people.

Taking place on BIFA’s Bike-Powered Stage in Blue River Plaza, this special event invites festivalgoers to gather, move and celebrate together in the heart of downtown Breckenridge.
