Intermediate Wheel Throwing: Bottles, lids, teapots and more
In this Intermediate class, the specific topic covered each session will be based on attendees’ requests and needs in technique. Possible topics include bottles, collared forms, lids, plates, bigger pieces, tea pots, decorative techniques, and throwing off the hump, or simply guidance in fixing your foundation technique. This class is for those who have already taken a beginner wheel series, have practiced a bit on their own and are comfortable centering and pulling a basic shape, and are ready to learn new techniques or could use some help in refining their foundation.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE REGISTERING
Ceramics is a multi-step process that takes many weeks for a completed glazed project. Kiln firings occur when there is enough work to fill the kiln. For ceramic glazing instructions and techniques, please consider taking the ceramics glazing class to complete your projects. We also do not ship completed projects back to those who created them.
